8 Recording setting
The complete configuration for the recording and the setting of the track mode is made in
the
Recoding Settings
dialog.

.
As an Administrator group user you have access to the extended configuration options of
Expert mode
.

Check the
Expert mode
checkbox.

Standard mode
Each line of the dialog represents a camera.
In the
Camera Name
(
A
) column a button is displayed for each camera. Under
Recording
(
B
), the recording of each camera can be activated in the appropriate track (recording but
-
tons). The recording is configured in the next columns (

). The size of the recording track
(LP track) can then be defined under
Storage Settings
(
D
). Finally, various recording options
can be activated and configured in
Other Settings
(
E
).
Note that the available recoding options and functions depend on the track mode.
8.1
Track mode
The recorder can be operated in
three
different
track modes
. These differ basically in regard
to the storage concept and therefore in regard to the options of the recording settings.
IMPORTANT
When changing the track mode all recordings and various set-
tings (e. g. video quality, camera timer) have to be deleted.
