3.4 Mounting the drop sensor (optional)
1. Connect the drop sensor to the
DROP/PCA (drop sensor port) located
on the rear of the product.
 Do not connect the drop sensor to the NURSE
Call port.
2. Place the drop sensor between the
chamber nozzle of the I.V Set and the
fluid surface in the chamber.
3. Attach the drop sensor to be
perpendicular to the chamber. If tilted,
it may not operate smoothly.

Do not attach it near the surface of the fluid.

It can detect splash of the fluid.
 Do not attach it too close to the nozzle.

Unformed drop can be detected.

Do not tilt the chamber.

Detection may be interrupted due to the drop that
falls on the wall inside the chamber.

Do not attach it below the medicinal fluid
surface.

Drops cannot be counted.
