config ddm trap
Description
The command configures the DDM trap action when encounter an exceeding alarm or
warning thresholds event.
Parameters
trap
- Specifies whether or not to send trap, when the operating parameter exceeds the
corresponding threshold.
Restrictions
Only Administrator and Operator-level users can issue this command.
Example usage:
To configure the port 11’s trap state to enable:
DGS-3450:admin# config ddm trap enable
Command: config ddm trap enable
Success.
DGS-3450:admin#
config ddm power_unit
Purpose
Used to configure the unit of DDM TX/RX power.
Syntax
config ddm power_unit [mw |dbm]
Description
The command is used to configure the DDM TX/RX power unit globally.
Parameters
power_unit
– Specify the unit of DDM TX/RX power. If the unit has been set, the display
message and configure value of TX/RX power use the same unit.The default unit is mW.
Restrictions
Only Administrator and Operator-level users can issue this command.
Example usage:
To configure the unit of DDM TX/RX power:
DGS-3450:admin#config ddm power_unit dbm
Command: config ddm power_unit dbm
Success.

show ddm ports status
Purpose
Used to show the current operating DDM parameters values of the SFP module of the
specified ports.
Syntax
show ddm ports {<portlist> } status
Description
The command displays the current operating parameters of the SFP modules.
Parameters
portlist
- Specified a range of ports to be displayed. (UnitID:port number).
If ‘all’ parameter is chosen, all SFP ports’ operating parameters will be displayed.
Restrictions
None.
