— Attaches the port to the Multicast router or switch as a static port.

— Forbidden.

•

N

— None the port is not attached.

Configuring Multicast TV

Multicast TV allows subscribers to join the same Multicast stream, even if the subscribers are not members of the
same VLAN, eliminating television traffic duplication. Ports which receive Multicast Transmissions, or

Receiver

Ports

, can be defined in any VLAN, and not just in the Multicast VLAN. Receiver ports can only receive Multicast

transmissions, they cannot initiate a Multicast TV transmission. Multicast TV source ports must be Multicast VLAN
