4.6. Menu “Restart”
Menu “Restart” is used to restart TDM/IP-stream or the entire device. The follow-
ing commands are available:
«Trunk»
– TDM/IP-stream restart at local device;
«Lite» – perform fast «hot» restart without rebooting the entire device;
«Reboot»
– perform device full «cold» restart;
«Poweroff» – poweroff the device;
To complete additional hardware reset and device reboot press button “RESET”
located at the front panel.
4.7. Menu “Firmware update”
Menu “Firmware update” is used to update E1-XL-IP multiplexor firmware:

Update firmware: update device’s firmware

2) IP address: <none> - local IP address
3) Mask: <none> - network mask
4) Gateway: 192.168.0.1 - default gateway address
5) DNS: 192.168.0.1 - domain name server
6) Proxy server: <none> - http-proxy server
7) Proxy port: 3128 - http-proxy server port
8) Perform - perform firmware update

• «Method» –selection of file upload and software repository interaction
method (protocol);
• «IP address» , «Mask», «Gateway», «DNS» – to ease operation network
configuration parameters were duplicated, ref. section 4.3.4;
• «Proxy server» , «Proxy port» – optional coordinates of proxy-server
which is used for file upload;
• «Perform» – command to start process update;
