Mode
Selection of framed (framing in compliance with ITU-T G.704) or unframed E1
mode.
«Framed»
– E1 framed mode, timeslots are defined;
«Unframed» – E1 unframed mode, timeslots are undefined;
When in framed mode multiplexor allows to specify a set of timeslots (1-31) to be
transferred over packet network. If unframed mode is active complete 2048 kbps bit
stream is transmitted.
CRC4 mode
Determines support of CRC4 multiframing. The given menu item can be accessed
only in case E1 framed mode is selected.
«Off»
– multiframe synchronization on CRC4 is not used (by default);
«On»
– CRC4 multiframe are used;
Signaling
Selection of telephone signaling type transmitted in 16
th
timeslot of E1 stream. The
given menu item can be accessed only in case E1 framed mode is selected.
«CAS» – associated channels signaling mode;
«CСS» – common channel signalling mode;
«none»
– in-slot inband tone or telephone signaling is not available;
Voice encoding
Specifies PCM-sound coding law in compliance with ITU-T G.711 recommendations.
The given menu item can be accessed only in case E1 framed mode is selected.
«A-law»
– conversion according to α-law (used by default);
«u-law» – conversion according to μ-law;
Timeslots
Provides selection of E1 timeslots to be transmitted over packet network and allows
to specify type of data sent in them. The given menu item can be accessed only in case
E1 framed mode is selected.
