5.7.2 Relay Wiring Connection
The relay operates in “failsafe” mode, i.e. the relay coil is energized under
normal non-alarm conditions. The relay is de-energized when if power fails.
In most applications the relay function should use the common “COM” and
normally closed “NC” terminals. With this wiring the connection will be open
under normal, low gas concentration conditions. When the gas concentration
rises to the configured alarm point or if there is a power failure the connection
relay will close.
