Channel Changes - with the up/down arrows
All Channels
Now that you’re watching TV, you’ll probably want to do some channel surfing. If you’ve ever
used a TV remote before, you already know what to do; it’s that simple.
The Remote Control has Channel Up/Down arrows in the upper section. These arrows do dou-
ble duty as cursor arrows, as you’ll see later. To select a new channel, simply press one of the
up/down arrows. The channel will change to the next available channel, as set on the Channel
Setup page.

Favorite Channels

) gives you access a customizable subset of all the channels avail-
able on your TV service. In Favorites mode, you can use the up/down arrows to move through
the list of selected Favorite channels, skipping over other channels. This is especially useful if
you have a large selection of available channels, as with cable or satellite service. Favorites
mode can be toggled on and off as needed.
You can manage your Favorite channels in the Favorites window.
Channel Changes - direct dial
To jump to a specific channel without passing through all the channels in between, you can
directly enter a channel number.
To do this, you’ll use a combination of the numeric keys and the

button. Here are some
examples: To go to Channel 6, press the

button. You do not
need to type in any leading zeros. To jump to Channel 173, press the number buttons
