CAD Workspace overview
The main components in a Project are the objects in it. If
you import a model file, a Project Object will be created
for it.
The Project Object will contain the 3D model with many
additional parameters which you can adjust, like color,
position, size, name, etc.
The 3D model will become visible in the 3D view, and
basic information about the Project Object will be shown
in the Tree View on the left side of the screen.
Manufacturing Workspace overview
Other contents of the Project include your hardware setup, which you can check and modify on the Manufacturing
Page.
Here you can set the Printer, a Printing mode if available, the Bed (Build Plate), and set for each Toolhead the Extruder
and Filament used.
You can adjust the settings for them using the cogwheel icons next to them.
The hardware setup is represented in the Project as a Printer Object item. Or if you’d like to set up multiple trays in a
single Project, you can have multiple Printer Objects as well in the Manufacturing Workspace.
For now, it is a single printer called “New Printer“ with the imported model inside it.
The Reference Objects
Note that when changing to that page, the Project Object in the Tree View will look a bit different, as it will show
information about it according to the Manufacturing Workspace.
