Modbus/TCP(Ethernet) Connection

The following is a setting example for communication with Modbus/TCP support device.
This example describes how to install the Modbus simulator software on the viewing terminal for
checking the connection.
See below for the configuration example regarding communication conditions.

1.

Terminal Setting

In this setting example, the Modbus simulator "mod_Rssim.exe" by SourceForge is installed on the viewing

terminal for the operation check. This section describes how to install and run the Modbus simulator.



Modbus Simulator Installation Procedure

1.

Access URL listed below and download the simulator software.

URL: https://sourceforge.net/projects/modrssim/files/latest/download

The listed URL is subject to change in the future. If that is a case, search "mod_Rssim.exe" on the search site.

2.

Click the "Download" to download .exe file, and save the file to your folder.
* The installer will not be executed.

3.

Double-click .exe file to start the simulation software.
