CPU Configuration
Add CPU
From the PLC setting page, click the [Add CPU to Link] to open the CPU configuration page in the
bottom.
To edit an existing CPU setting, select the specified link display and the "CPU" setting contents can
be shown for editing at the bottom of the screen.
Set each item, then click the [Add], [Change] or [Delete] button. Setting details are explained in the
table below.
*When connecting through serial communication, several CPU configurations can be set with one
link setting.

Description
1 CPU Name
Decide a CPU name.
0 to 32 of one-byte alphanumeric letters, [_] underline, and [-] hyphen.
The name cannot be set with only numbers.
2 Target Link Name The set link name is displayed. Select the link name for CPU setting.
3 CPU
CPU corresponds to the set link name is displayed in the list.
Select the specified CPU.
4 Station Number
Enter the station number to be used for serial communication.
(This is only displayed when serial communications is selected.)
5 Timeout (sec)
Set the timeout period (sec) for no responding.
6 Retry Number
Set the number of retry times when a communication error occurs.
