Ethernet Connection with KEYENCE PLC
The following is a setting example for Ethernet communication with the KEYENCE PLC KV-5000.
For communication with the KV-5000, the PLC communication protocol by Mitsubishi Electric (MC
protocol) is used.
* KEYENCE original communication protocol is not supported as of August 2018.
See below for the configuration example regarding communication conditions.
In this communication example, M2M Gateway setting is configured on the Mitsubishi device with
the Mitsubishi protocol.
Please check the KEYENCE manual for the compatibility between Mitsubishi devices and KEYENCE
devices.
An example with the KEYENCE PLC KV-5000 is listed below.
