Modbus Connection

Modbus communication method in CONPROSYS is compatible with Modbus/RTU and Modbus/TCP.
As for Modbus communication protocol, the communication procedure is the same as previously
described in PLC communication.
The definition of Modbus communication method is listed below.

Serial Communication



Modbus/ASCII

A method of transmitting 1 byte (8-bit) data by converting into 2-character ASCII code
* 1 Unavailable with the CONPROSYS



Modbus/RTU
A method of transmitting 1 byte (8-bit) data as it is (binary transmission)

TCP/IP Communication (Ethernet Communication)


