Because USB-Serial converters are designed to connect to computers, these adapters break out to DTE-style (male)
RS232 pinning. To attach to a PC or other DTE style ports, they will require null-modem adapters on each of the
four RS232 DB9 connectors. We recommend Kingdee slim line adapter F/F model ADIB075XHWVSJ, available from
online retailers. With the use of the null modem adapter, the adapter pinouts will be identical to those listed above
for the instance #1 connector.
