Input/Output Module

This chapter contains information about the I/O module, including a product description,
configuration data, and status information.

Product Description

Enclosure I/O modules are Ultra SCSI single-ended I/O modules and are located in the
rear of the enclosure (see Figure 4–1). Their functions include:

■

Terminating each external Ultra SCSI bus connection

■

Establishing Ultra SCSI bus communications between the enclosure and a storage
enclosure
