DIGITAL PowerStorm 1000 Graphics Subsystem Owner's Guide   5–5

5.4  Left Side Panel

Perform the following procedure to remove the left side panel from the PowerStorm 1000
graphics subsystem deskside chassis:

1.  Perform a normal system power down (see Section 5.2).

2.  Lay the deskside chassis over on it’s right side (see Figure 5-2).

3.  Unlock the left side panel by turning the key 

™, located on the rear of the chassis,

counterclockwise (see Figure 5-2).

4.  Insert two fingers into the finger grip 

š on the rear edge of the left side panel.

5.  Slide the left side panel toward the rear of the chassis and remove the panel (see

Figure 5-2).

To replace the left side panel, reverse steps 1 through 5 of the removal procedure.
