POST Error Messages
Smart Array controllers produce diagnostic error messages at reboot. Many of these
Power-On-Test (POST) messages are self-explanatory and suggest corrective actions
for troubleshooting. Detailed information about these messages is given in Table F-1.

There is a termination or cabling problem with the
system board integrated SCSI controller. See the

This configuration is not recommended. Migrate
the logical drive (or drives) to RAID 5 or upgrade
the array accelerator cache module.

or more, but cache
size is less than or
equal to 32 MB.
This configuration is not recommended. Migrate
the logical drive (or drives) to RAID 0 or 1, reduce
the number of drives in the array, or upgrade the
array accelerator cache module.
