Removal and Replacement Procedures

5.18  Processor Module Assembly

The processor module assembly is located in the center of the computer. It consists of
the processor board, the interposer board (with memory), a heat sink, a heat spreader,
and two ground clips. The assembly attaches to the system board by two multipin
connectors and two screws.

1.  Prepare the computer for disassembly (Section 5.4).

2.  Remove all battery packs (Section 5.7).

3.  Remove the keyboard assembly (Section 5.11).

4.  Remove the audio/USB board (Section 5.14).

5.  Remove the modem board (Section 5.15).

6.  Remove the audio assembly bracket (Section 5.16)
