5.15  Modem Board

The modem board is located in the right rear area of the computer and connects to the
audio/USB and system boards. The keyboard assembly and audio/USB board must be
removed to access the modem board.

NOTE:  

Computers not equipped with a modem contain an audio only board in the same

location. Removal procedures are the same for the audio only board.

1.  Prepare the computer for disassembly (Section 5.4).

2.  Remove all battery packs (Section 5.7).
