reads 1400 +/- 20.
10. Carefully engage the sprockets by
moving the potentiometer & mounting
bracket in toward the body of the feed.
11. Once the potentiometer sprocket is
engaged, type “u” and verify the
potentiometer reading is still within 1400
+/- 20. If not, repeat steps 9 & 10.
12. Tighten the mounting screws to secure
the pot. Verify the potentiometer
reading is still within 1400 +/- 20. If not,
repeat steps 9 - 11.
13. Record the 4 digit value that is displayed
after the “V” as your LHCP value. This
value will be used in calculations below.
14. Using your 2mm Allen wrench, unscrew
the alignment pin out of the LHCP notch.
15. Rotate the circular section of the feed to
align the RHCP notch and the alignment
pin. Carefully screw the alignment pin
fully into the RHCP notch.

16. In ProgTerm, type “u”. The result should
be formatted as shown to the right. Pot
measurements for the circular feed are
the four digit “ZZZZ” value following the
“V”.
17. Record the 4 digit value that is displayed
after the “V” as your RHCP value. This
value (typically approximately 3272) will
be used in calculations below.

18. Use the following formula to calculate
the scale value (round to nearest integer).
19. Verify Scale = 234 +/- 1
NOTE: If the Scale calculated falls outside of the
tolerance, repeat steps 7 - 17, ensuring the LHCP
value recorded in step 13 is 1400 +/- 20.
20. Record this value as the Scale value.
21. Use the following formula to calculate
the offset value (round to the neatest
integer). Verify offset = 116 +/- 5.
22. Record this value as the Offset value.
