tion. Check the rope for cuts, loosen yarns, signs of corro-
sion, burns. Replace immediately the device showing any
of the described signs. Replace immediately the device in
case you are in doubt about it’s good state of conserva-
tion. Replace immediately the device that arrested a fall.
Even if no sign of wear is visible, the strength of the device
could result seriously diminished. Avoid exposing the de-
vice to heat sources, contact with abrasive materials and
sharp objects, corrosive substances. Wash the device with
fresh, room temperature water, if necessary, add neutral
soap. Rinse under fresh water and remove the water in
excess, with a soft rug. Let the device dry in the open air,
away from direct sun light or heat sources. Lubricate the
mobile components with a general purpose, low viscosity
silicone oil used lubricating metal and non-metal surfac-
es (e.g. Loctite 8021).
7) STORAGE AND TRANSPORTATION.
Remove the device from its package, store it in a well-
ventilated and dry place, away from aggressive chemical
substances. Never pack away your device wet, never store
your device in environment with a saline atmosphere. No
explicit attention is required for a correct transportation,
apart from the advices above mentioned. Avoid leaving
your equipment in your car or in other closed places ex-
posed to the sun.
8) OUTWEAR.
It is very difficult to determine the longevity of a product
because it is influenced by many different factors: wear,
intensive or incorrect use, environmental conditions, in-
correct storage etc. (list not exhaustive). As general guid-
ance, the following exemplification can be applied: 10
Years for products including textile or plastic parts, indef-
inite for hardware made of metallic materials. It is advis-
able, in any case, to substitute your equipment at least
every 10 years because meanwhile, techniques, rules and
regulations may have changed and your equipment could
result incompatible with other components of the fall pro-
tection system. For your safety it is therefore highly recom-
mended that you always check your device and equip-
ment before, during and after use and that you regularly
submit your device and equipment to inspections and
controls by competent persons, every 12 months at the
latest. These time intervals may change according to fre-
quency and intensity of device and equipment use. Should
you ever have even the smallest doubt as to the conditions
of the device, please see that it is immediately replaced.
9) GUARANTE.
3 Years guarantee against all manufacturing faults and or
defective materials. Excluded from the guarantee are the
normal wear, alterations, improper use and or storage,
negligence, incorrect maintenance.
10) RESPONSIBILITY
.
The manufacturer and the responsible for the introduction
in the market decline any and all responsibility in case of
incorrect use, improper application or for products hav-
ing been modified or repaired by persons not specifical-
ly authorized by the producer. The producer assumes the
responsibility only for the use for which the product is de-
signed for and is not responsible for cases of bad main-
tenance and for cases of user negligence’s which can ag-
gravate the dangerous conditions which can arise during
the use of the connector. The manufacturer and the re-
sponsible for the introduction in the market, deny any li-
ability for accidents, damages, fatalities occurred in der-
ivation or after the incorrect use of this product, items
altered or repaired without the authorization in writing of
the manufacturer. The manufacturer decline any respon-
sibility in case of failure following these user instruction. It
is compulsory that if this product is sold outside the origi-
nal country of destination, these user instructions and the
relevant check list must be translated, by the vendor, in
the official language of the country where the device will
be used.

EN 12841:2006-B - Dispositivo di regolazione della fu-
ne: risalitore. Da utilizzare con corde (anima + calza) sta-
tiche o semistatiche - EN 1891 tipo A 10 ≤ Ø ≤ 13 mm.

- Attrezzatura per alpinismo: bloccante. Da
utilizzare con corde (anima + calza) statiche o semistati-
che (EN 1891) o dinamiche (EN 892) 8 ≤ Ø ≤ 13 mm.
1) AVVERTENZE E RESPONSABILITÀ.
I bloccanti ventrali interessati dalle seguenti istruzioni so-
no dispositivi di protezione individuale (DPI) destinati ad
essere integrati in sistemi di protezione contro le cadute,
per esempio imbracature e funi; le imbracature comple-
te sono gli unici dispositivi di contenimento per il corpo
che possano essere impiegati in un sistema di arresto ca-
duta.
