Installing/Removing Forward-Facing Car Seat
WARNING — DEATH or
SERIOUS INJURY can occur
• All children less than one year old and 22 lb (10 kg) must use this car
seat Rear-Facing. Serious injury or death can result if infant faces front
of vehicle.
• Rear-Facing Base and Anti-Rebound Bar must be removed when using
seat Forward-Facing.
• LATCH or vehicle belt must stay tightly adjusted at all times.
• Seat must be in the correct recline position for the installation
method selected.
• To avoid injury, this car seat must be installed by an adult.
• Do not install this car seat Forward-Facing with the Rear-Facing LATCH
Belt. Only Rigid LATCH Connectors should be used to install this car seat
Forward-Facing with the vehicle’s LATCH anchorage system.
• Failure to properly install or use this car seat increases the risk of serious
injury or death to the child and others in a sharp turn, sudden stop
or crash.
