END PANEL INSTALLATION
The following procedure describes installing an end panel
that includes D-rings at the top and vertical and horizontal
pockets on the inside panel surface. Complete these steps
to install an end panel of this design.
SPECIAL NOTE:
If main cover is installed, ratchets used
to secure main cover bonnet to end of the building must be
removed
before
installing end panel. These ratchets are
reattached to bottom rail of end frame once end frame and
panel are installed. See Ratchet Relocation Diagram for
clarification and additional information.
1. Position panel flat on ground with long edge against
bottom end frame member.
2. Locate panel D-rings and tie a three-foot piece of 1"
strapping to center-most D-ring. Tie two (2) additional straps to a D-ring on each side of the center D-ring. (Space
these a few feet from center D-ring.)
NOTE:
These straps are used to
temporarily
secure end panel in place.
To prevent personal injury or property
damage, do not install end panel or main cover during stormy or windy conditions.
3. Take a section of rope or strap long enough to reach over top chord of end rafter and tie it to center D-ring of end
panel. (This rope or strap is used to pull panel into position.)
4. With the 1" strapping in place, loosen main cover bonnet (if main cover is installed), throw free end of strap over top of
end rafter, pull end panel into position, and secure it to top chord of end rafter using 3' temporary straps.
NOTE:
Pull top edge of end panel to within 6" of rafter. Verify that the lower end of the panel is on the ground. In a
later step, this portion can be wrapped under the bottom tube of end frame, or remain as a skirt to direct water away
from the shelter.

Frame and rafter shown are different from your frame. Technique
used to secure end panel is similar however. Photo shows main cover
already installed.
End panel shown differs from actual panel.
Tie strap to the
center D-ring and
throw free end over
top of end rafter.
Pull end panel
up and into
position.
Use the 3'
straps to hold
panel so it
can be laced
to end rafter.
