Electric shock hazard

Never immerse the appliance in water or other liquids to avoid the risk of electric shock.

Do not touch the appliance with wet hands. Do not operate it outdoors or in rooms
with high humidity.
❐
Never pick up liquids with the appliance.
Do not pour liquids into the dust container.
❐
Store the appliance only in dry indoor rooms.
❐
In the event of damage/malfunctions (e.g. unusual noises, odour or smoke development),
disconnect the appliance from the mains power supply immediately.

CAUTION:
Acute risk of electrocution! Never try to repair an electrical article your-
self; contact the customer service to ensure your own safety.
❐
Never carry or pull the appliance by the mains cable; always treat the mains cable with
care. Avoid pinching the cable in doors or pulling over sharp edges or corners. Keep the
cable away from hot surfaces.
❐
Connect the appliance only to a plug socket whose mains voltage corresponds to the
data on the rating plate of the appliance. The mains socket must still be accessible after
the connection has been made.
❐
In case of thunderstorms or faults in the power supply unit/charging station or in case
the appliance is not used for a longer period of time, remove the mains plug from the
mains socket.
❐
Always pull the plug, never the mains cable, to remove the plug from the mains socket.
Touch the mains plug only with dry hands.
Danger from batteries

Batteries can be deadly if swallowed. Therefore keep batteries and the remote control
out of the reach of small children. If a battery is swallowed, seek medical assistance im-
mediately.

Before inserting the battery, check that the contacts are clean and clean, if necessary.

Use only the battery type speci

ed in the technical data.

Take the batteries out of the remote control when they are discharged or if the appli-
ance is not going to be used for a prolonged period. This will prevent damage that might
occur if the battery leaks. In case of a longer period of disuse, remove the battery from
the appliance as well.

Should a battery have leaked, to not allow your skin, eyes and mucous membranes to
come into contact with the battery acid. If you touch battery acid, rinse the affected sites
with abundant fresh water immediately and contact a doctor as soon as possible.

Remove a dead battery from the appliance immediately. Clean the contacts before insert-
ing a new battery.
❐
The battery of the remote control may not be charged or reactivated with another
means. The battery must not be taken apart, thrown into a
fi
re, immersed in liquids or
short-circuited.
