Charging the battery
The charging state of the battery can be read on the battery symbol on the display. Three
bars indicate a full battery and one bar indicates an almost empty battery.
Before the
fi
rst use, it takes about 6 to 8 hours to completely charge an empty battery, later
about 3.5 hours. The battery can be charged in two ways: through the charging station or
directly using the power supply unit.
You can remove the Euro plug from the power supply unit and attach another
adapter (not included in the scope of supply). The power supply unit is suited for an
input voltage of 100 - 240 V~, 50/60 Hz.
•
Removing the plug: Press the
PUSH
key and turn the plug clockwise a bit.
•
Attaching the plug: Insert it into the power supply unit and turn it clockwise
until it audibly engages.
Charging using the charging station
1. Look for a suitable location for the charging station.
The charging station is best placed on a
fi
rm surface and in an area to which the appliance
has a free return path at the end of the cleaning cycle.
About 50 cm clearance must
be in front of the charging station
.
Place the
bottom metal plate of the charging station along a wall
or another im-
movable object to prevent the charging station from sliding during docking.
