6. Using the
MODE
button on the remote control, you can also select just one of these
cleaning patterns. The selected pattern is shown on the display:
F1
: Spiral (The appliance stops when it hits an obstacle.)
F2
: Through the room
F3
: Along the walls
F4
: S shape
F5
: Polygon spiral
FA
: Automatic processing of all patterns
When
F4
is activated and the appliance cannot emerge from a corner, switch to
another cleaning pattern.
7. With the arrow buttons on the remote control, you can correct the direction of move-
ment of the appliance.
8. Press the
UV
button to switch the UV lamp on the bottom of the appliance on and off;
this lamp kills dust mites and bacteria.
9. With
the
SAUGEN
button, you can turn the vacuum motor on and off.
10. If you would like to interrupt the cleaning procedure, press the
STOP
button on the re-
mote control or the
START
button on the appliance. Within two minutes you can con-
tinue cleaning by pressing the
START
button again. After that, the appliance switches
off and can only be reactivated using the
POWER
button.
11. Aft the end of the cleaning duration or when the battery is almost empty, a long beep
sounds and the appliance switches off the vacuum motor and automatically starts to
search for the charging station. If it does not
fi
nd it within 30 minutes, it switches off
altogether so that the battery is not completely discharged.
12. If the appliance should return to the charging station before the time is up, press the
BASIS
button on the remote control.
13. Using the
POWER
button on the appliance or the
AUS
button on the remote control,
the appliance can be switched off entirely.
14. After each use, empty the dust container and remove any contamination as described in
the following section.
