2. Connect the power supply unit
cable to the charging station and
then insert the mains plug of the
power supply unit into an easily
accessible socket.
Make sure that
any extra cable does not lie in
front of the charging station
so
that the appliance is not prevented
from docking and the cable does
not present a tripping danger!
The
blue
POWER
lamp (
1
) now lights
up and signals that the charging sta-
tion is ready for operation.
3. Test the charging station: Place the appliance in the vicinity of the charging station and
pick up the remote control. Press the
POWER
button on the appliance and then the
BASIS
button on the remote control. The appliance should now dock onto the charging
station. If the appliance cannot dock at the
fi
rst attempt, it tries again until it succeeds.
If it does not work after several attempts, the location of the charging station must be
changed.
4. Leave the charging station connected to the power mains so that the appliance can dock
automatically after cleaning or when the battery is empty and be recharged for the next
cleaning.
After docking, check whether the bar of the battery symbol is
fl
ash-
ing to see if the appliance is correctly connected to the charging contacts.
5. If cleaning should be continued automatically after the charging of the battery, press the
GO
button (

) on the charging station. The respective green lamp (
3
) signals that this
function is activated. The cleaning duration of the appliance is automatically set to 80
minutes.
6. As soon as the battery is charged, a signal sounds three times and the battery symbol on
the display has three bars. When the
GO
function is activated, the appliance leaves the
charging station and continues cleaning. Otherwise, the appliance switches off automati-
cally.
Charging directly through the power supply unit
When the battery is charged completely and the appliance cannot drive to the charging
station, it must be placed in the charging station or charged directly using the power supply
unit:
1. Connect the mains cable directly to the appliance.
2. Insert the mains plug of the power supply unit into a suitable mains socket.
3. After that, the charging procedure begins. The battery symbols appears in the display
with a
fl
ashing bar.
4. As soon as the battery is charged, a signal sounds three times and the battery symbol on
the display has three bars. Disconnect the appliance from the power mains.
