The Cisco UCS VIC 1227 (UCSC-MLOM-CSC-02) is not compatible to use in

Cisco Card

NIC mode

with a certain Cisco SFP+ module. Do not use a Cisco SFP+ module part number 37-0961-01 that has a
serial number in the range MOC1238

xxxx

to MOC1309

xxxx

. If you use the Cisco UCS VIC 1227 in

Cisco Card NIC mode, use a different part number Cisco SFP+ module, or you can use this part number
37-0961-01 if the serial number is

not

included in the range above. See the data sheet for this adapter for

other supported SFP+ modules:
