wire entry point.
When combining multiple switches on a single circuit, refer to the switch ampacity tables
below to verify that the number of switches is appropriate, given the circuit
’ s voltage and
ampacity. The switch ampacity table provides number of units that fit on a single circuit
(after derating to 80% of capacity), i.e. 15A circuit gives number of units possible when only
12A (80% of 15A) is used.
