Mode/Store/Recall Commands

. Enables you to

enter Tab Setup, and read and record Tab messages
(settings).

NOTES

A Help Menu of all commands and tab
functions can be accessed by
pressing the ? key when in Tab Setup.

Tabs are recorded as part of a Full
Page message. They can also be
recorded as a separate element by
entering the Tab Mode, then
recording them to a page (§7.4.6.1).
They can be applied to any existing
page by reading that page from within
the main menu or in Tab Mode, then
reading the Tab message. The tabs
become active for any

new

text that is

entered into them, though they do not
affect existing text.

Justification of text is not automatic
when recalling the Tab message.
However, if text happens to occupy a
tab field, restoring the justification
rejustifies the text.

In the following tables:  When a “+”
does not appear between two
keystrokes, the keystrokes can be
performed in the order shown without
having to hold one key down while
pressing another.  If a “+” does
appear between two keystrokes, you
must keep the first key pressed while
you press the second key.  For
example, to execute ALT SHIFT CHAR
