Always perform the I/O port function test after repairing the main board, the light engine, or
upgrading the scalar firmware. If the performance is not normal, replace the main board or I/O
board (see

Running a VGA port performance test

To perform the VGA port performance test, complete the following steps.

1. Connect the projector and video generator using a VGA cable.

2. Switch the signal source to

VGA

The image of video generator should be projected.
