Remaining Amount of Chart Paper
When the chart cassette is loaded, backlash of the chart feed
mechanism (allowance of mechanism) is generated.
Note that the chart paper is not fed for a period of time until this
backlash is removed.
•
Method to minimize the period of no feeding of the chart
paper by the chart cassette loading.
(1) After the chart cassette loading, put back the chart feed
gear lightly until it stops, and then the chart feed
mechanism backlash can be minimized.
(2) With the front FEED key operation, operate the FEED key
until the chart paper is fed, and then the time of no chart
feeding is almost none.
When Chart Cassette is Loaded
The chart cassette of this product has a flat surface in the front
which allows notes.
The structure of this product allows manual feeding of the chart
paper (Refer to 6.3 Chart Feeding Operation); therefore, if force
is added downward (feeding) on notes writing, the chart feed
mechanism moves down and the chart paper feeding may be
displaced.
Even if the chart feed mechanism for manual feeding does not
move, the chart paper may be displaced with the mechanism
backlash.
Pay attention to the chart paper not to be moved on writing.
When the chart paper is moved downward, time axis is
displaced, and the chart paper is not fed for the period
equivalent to the backlash of the chart feed mechanism.
