Installing and Replacing Components Other than Network Interface Cards (NICs) and Accelerated Data Path

Check Point IP690 Security Platform Installation Guide

Locate and remove the existing compact flash memory card from the slot by gently sliding it
out of the slot.

Gently insert the new compact flash memory card into the slot.

Slowly slide the chassis tray assembly back into the appliance, taking care to prevent
damaging components.

Resecure the two chassis tray assembly retaining screws.

Turn on the power supplies at the back of the appliance.
