MSA G1 Classic Breathing Apparatus
If the pressure relief valve operates:
withdraw to a safe location (COLD zone) ;
close the cylinder valve and continue breathing to relieve all air
pressure; and
open the cylinder valve slowly to see if the pressure relief valve is still
operating.
If the relief valve is still operating, withdraw the BA set from service,
quarantine it and return to the Sate PPE&C Management Centre.
