Receivers
Warning!
The receivers must only be powered by a safety power pack.
Outdoor receiver with LCD display IP55 (fig. 1)
- The outdoor receiver (printed circuit CS1444.01AB) is fitted with a 20-way terminal board and has a
12/24Vac/dc
electrical connections between binding posts 1-2.
For the installation of the outdoor receiver
see the separate instructions for mounting the box (ZVL105.02)
supplied with the product.
Interchangeable channel modules
The receiver can be fitted with up to four
MCCMORPHM1
interchangeable channel modules which can set
via software (see setting the relays).
Attention!
Removing and inserting the channel module must be carried out when the receivers are switched off.
Status inputs
The receiver is fitted with four independent inputs,
IN1…4
, which can be used to monitor the status of the
external devices.
You can obtain the status of the inputs either by sending and receiving an
SMS
or through the gateway.
The '
IN
' contacts
1
to
4
can either be wired to a potential free contact or connected to a signal whose direct
current voltage can vary from
0
to
18V
; in this case for voltages less than
1.8V
the contact is deemed to be
closed and for voltages greater than
1.8V
it is deemed to be open.
The status of each input, along with its individual identification number, is shown in real time on the receiver's
display. If for example number '1' appears on the display, this means that the input is 'high' or 'open' while
if a hyphen '
-
' appears on the display the input is 'low' or 'closed'.
The status inputs have a particular function, based on the Gateway Cardin service, which will notify you
when an input has taken on a certain status for a fixed amount of time. The threshold for the indication and
the response time can be set independently for each input using the software
CardinTX_SW
. For more
information about this function consult the instructions for the
CardinTX_SW
software.
Serial number
Each receiver has its own individual serial number which allows it to access the data exchange gateway.
The serial number cannot be modified . The receiver's serial number is marked on a label on the printed
circuit board (see fig. 1). If for some reason the label has been removed the serial number can be read on
the display by scrolling down to menu number 10 and then pressing
ENT
. The product identification
number will appear on the display.
Receiver connectivity
Connection to the receiver in order to manage user data can take place in three different ways:
• Hardware hook up: using a usb cable fitted with a “
USB MINI
” connector
•
2G
Mobile network: using a modem connected to the computer fitted with the necessary software.
•
3G-WF
Mobile network: using the gateway service supplied by Cardin Elettronica (only for Cardin products)
which allows the receiver to be directly accessed through internet.
Event Recording
The receiver records all the activation output commands up to a maximum of
131072
events, classified
according to their origin: remote control, APP, text message or phone call. Each event will contain references
to the sender of the command (serial number or telephone), as well as the date and time when the output
was activated. The date and time are maintained even in the event of a prolonged power failure and, if
compromised, will be synchronised automatically with the Cardin Gateway. The events recorded by the
receiver can be downloaded remotely through the
CardinTX_SW
software. For more details on this mode,
which is managed exclusively through the
CardinTX_SW
, please refer directly to the program instructions.
