6.7 How to Avoid Slippage of Rear Wheels

5314M-0607-010E

* If the rear wheels slip on muddy ground or steep slopes, operate the differential

lock lever to eliminate the difference in rotational speed between the rear

wheels.

* During normal driving, always move the differential lock lever to “OFF” position.

Failure to do so may lead damage the differential gears.

1. Move the differential lock lever to “ON”.

2. Shift the auxiliary speed change lever to the “Low speed”

position and drive the machine slowly.

3. After you regain wheel control, return the differential lock

lever to the “OFF” position.

6.8 How to Operate Blade

* Keep legs and arms away from cutter blade covers

during operations. The cutter blade rotates close

to each cover during operation.

* When using machine for the first time, select flat

ground and operate slowly so that cutting paths

overlap.

* When cutting around obstacles, always position

trees, posts, and other obstacles on the left side

of the machine (turn counter clockwise around

objects).

* Before operating, read Chapter 3 "Rules for safe

Operation and Work". (See pages 6 to 10)
