Technology
An important role of copiers and scanners is to
faithfully
reproduce the image quality of the original. With digital
cameras, on the other hand, it is essential to regenerate captured images
naturally

However, attempting to faithfully reproduce a captured image does not always result in a natural image. This is
why
image rendering
, an inherent technology of digital cameras, is so important to digital photography.
Image rendering is the inclusion of several elements including ‘exposure control appropriate to the scene
