- Magnified playback for easy confirmation of images (from approx. 2x to 10x zoom
magnification)
During replay on the PowerShot G3, the image can be magnified from 2 to 10 times with the image magnification
control. Because zooming has
been made possible, the image
is magnified in a continuous
fashion. Pressing the set button
while magnifying steps the
magnification in three preset
ratios of 2.5, 5 and 10.
The magnified image can be
scrolled to view a desired region.
- Next frame, previous frame, fast forward, fast reverse, first frame and last frame available during
movie replay
During movie replay on the PowerShot G3, next frame, previous frame, fast forward and fast reverse operations
that correspond to those of a VCR are provided. Instantaneous jumps to the start or end of a clip are also
provided, which are impossible with tape media.
- Supports DPOF format slideshows and image transfers
The PowerShot G3 supports the optional DPOF slideshow and image transfer functions.
The slideshow function automatically plays back those images that have been marked; the image transfer
function automatically transfers those images that have been marked to a computer.
- Sound annotation function (Sound memos up to 60 seconds in length can be recorded during
replay)
Comments about an image can be easily added on the PowerShot G3 since sound memos up to 60 seconds in
length can be recorded during replay.
Sound is recorded in WAVE format (mono).
