7-42 Working with Documents in the Desktop Manager

Chapter 7

3. Move the Brightness slider to the left to make the image darker, to the

right to make the image brighter.

4. Move the Contrast slider to the left to decrease contrast, to the right to

increase contrast.

5. When the current image appears as you want it, click OK to accept the

changes. Click Cancel to abandon the changes.

Adjusting the Colour Balance

You can adjust the colour components of an image by changing the level of
red, green, and blue colours that make up the shades in your image.

To adjust the colour balance:

1. Select the image or a portion of the image.

2. Click Colour Balance on the Adjust menu or toolbar.
