NOTE:

Remote UI [Manual Update] requires dedicated firmware for manual update.
For regions where firmware update by users is not supported, manual firmware update function cannot be used even if [Manual
Update] menu on the remote UI is enabled.

 Maintenance

Storage Format

When formatting or replacing the internal Main machine storage, you can save Updater, a MEAP application, by putting the
machine into download mode and saving the MEAP area. See 

“Backup and Restoration Using Download Mode” on page 119

for details.
Settings are initialized after the format/replacement and must be configured again. See 

“Preparation” on page 50

 for the

procedures.

NOTE:

Formatting/replacing the internal Main machine storage deletes scheduled distribution, downloaded firmware (not updated), and
logs (update logs/system logs).

When replacing the host machine

All settings must be configured again as no data are inherited. All settings must be newly configured as no information is migrated.

“Preparation” on page 50

 for the procedures.
