Note

Procedures Required for an AppleTalk Network

Here is a summary of the procedures required to set the printer for use on an
AppleTalk network.

Steps 1 and 3 above should be performed by the network system administrator.

z

This section describes the printer connection to a Macintosh computer equipped
with a standard Ethernet port built in. If the printer is connected to an expansion
network interface board, be sure to select the name of the port.
