c. Adjusting Horizontal Registration (service mode)

Adjust the horizontal registration in ‘RSID-SNSHP’ (4th screen) of ‘ADJUST’ in service mode (*3*) if a

discrepancy occurs in rear/front direction during pick-up for copying on the second side of an overlay/two-
sided copy.

In this adjustment, the position of the horizontal registration sensor electrically stored in memory is

shifted, thereby moving the position of laser exposure. (This is not to physically move the position of the
sensor.)
• If the image is displaced to the rear, decrease the value.
