The sheets of copy paper moved to the lower feeding assembly for two-sided/overlay copying are

stacked in a staggered pattern by the set-back method and re-picked up for copying on the second side.

In the set-back mechanism, sheets of copy paper are stacked in a staggered pattern so that double

feeding may be avoided within limited space.
