10. Finally, connect your data logger with
Device Configuration Utility
and navigate to
Deployment > Com Ports Settings and select COMC3 for Select the ComPort, 115200 Fixed
for Baud Rate, and RS-485 Half-Duplex PakBus for Configuration.
11. Select the Advanced tab and change Is Router to True for the CR6.
12. Click Apply to save settings.
6.4 Mounting
The CSAT3BH and CSAT3H controller box is supplied with mounting hardware to attach it to the
end of a horizontal pipe with an outer diameter of 3.33 cm (1.31 in), such as the Campbell
Scientific CM202, CM204, or CM206 crossarm (referred to generically as a CM20X crossarm). The
following steps describe a general mounting procedure. The CSAT3H heater controller box must
be mounted within 15 ft of the CSAT3BH. The temp/RH sensor used by the CSAT3H heater
controller box has a 17 ft cable and should be mounted at the same level as the anemometer.
6.4.1 Mount the CSAT3BH
1. Secure the chosen crossarm to a tripod or other vertical structure using a CM210 crossarm-
to-pole mounting kit as shown in
