Reversible manifold
To achieve the right configuration suitable for an installation with
heat pump on the left of the manifold, follow the steps below:
1)
Turn the nut on the relative
shut-off valve using a 30 mm
hexagonal
wrench
to
disconnect the corrugated
pipe
on
the
expansion
vessel.
2)
Unscrew the butterfly nuts
and remove the anchoring
plate brackets.
3)
Rotate the expansion vessel
180°.
4)
Secure the brackets starting
with the two pins on the left
side in order to hold the
expansion
vessel
in
the
indicated position.
5)
Prepare the corrugated pipe
for
connection
to
the
manifold. Connect just one
end to the expansion vessel,
tightening the nut until the
seal is watertight. The other
end will be connected to the
shut-off valve only after the
manifold has been reversed.
6)
Take the temperature gauges out of their pockets, remove the
safety relief valve discharge tundish then disconnect the front
half-shell of the insulation (as suggested in “Installation in
geothermal probe systems” point 1).
7)
Unscrew the fixing screws on each of the 4 brackets to extract
the manifolds from their supports.
9)
Take out the brackets and pull off the rear insulation. This will be
the closing one after giving the manifold a 180° rotation.
8)
Extract the manifolds from brackets.
