Filling the circuits
When the instrument holder manifold is installed in a geothermal
probe system, it can be used to fill the circuits:
1)
Close the shut-off valves in the direction of the heat pump.
2)
Connect the fill pipe to the fill valve hose connection and the
drain pipe to the deaerator - dirt separator hose connection. If
it is filled with a mixture of water and glycol, or with saline
solutions, place a container at the edge of the drain pipe to
stop any fluid from leaking into the environment.
3)
The air vent fitted with hygroscopic safety cap releases air from
the system.
Do not tamper with the hygroscopic safety cap
which must be fully tightened to guarantee closure
of the valve and to prevent any potential damage
from water leakages.
Seal test
When all circuits have been filled, the system seal test can be
carried out.
1)
Disconnect the drain pipe and close the corresponding drain
cock. Connect the test system pump to the fill pipe.
2)
Bring the circuit up to pressure, to a maximum of 2,5 bar, for the
set period of time.
During the test, the
pressure
must
not
exceed 2,5 bar
