The MAIN Menu: Connect
The
Connect
command allows to operate in
Multicrate mode: it is possible to control via
H.S. CAENET a remote slave Power Supply System. To establish the connection, it’s
necessary to insert the remote system CAENET crate number (1 to 99) and then select
Ok. Select Cancel to exit from the dialog window.

As
Logout
is entered, the program goes back to the
Welcome Screen

The GROUPS Menu and relevant commands
The
Groups
Menu
allows to create up to 15 different custom groups of channels
(
Group 01
through
Group 15
), containing a subset of the channels available. By default,
the
Group 00
is the group containing all the channels and cannot be edited.
The
Groups
menu gives access to:

Group mode
toggle command,

Add Channels

Remove Channels

windows.
In order to create a new group, follow this procedure:
1. Select the
