Menu: Session
The
Session Window
, entered from the
–
menu which is the first menu on the left in the
Menu Bar
, is shown in Fig. 7.7: it displays all the users (
Username
) presently connected
to the system and gives information about their Access Level as Guest, User or
Administrator (
Level
), the Communication Line (
Comm Line
) they are using and the
Login Time
, i.e. the time (day, month, hour, year) at which they started the connection.
For example, Fig. 7.7 shows that there is only one user connected to the system. His
Username
is ‘user’, he is logged with a ‘user’ access
Level
and he is operating in
standalone configuration (‘Local’ as
Communication Line
indicates that the user is
currently connected to the system via no other interface but those compatible with the
standalone operation: crate on-board control devices, external keyboard and external
VGA monitor). The other communication line which can be displayed are:
Telnet
,
RS232
,
CAENET
,
CMD RS232
and
CMD TCP/IP
. The latter two refer to a remote
operation via host computer, i.e. using a command interface (CMD).
To return to the
Menu Bar
