16 .3 "PRefeRences" menu of the bbc
This menu enables the binder to be configured according to the operator's preferences.
Settings such as the language, units of measurement, start-up mode ... are defined here.
Note: When the binder is configured in BBC mode, the access to the menu
"PREFERENCES" is done via the "TOOLS"
menu.
For this menu, functions for the binder are described in chapter
"4.2 "PREFERENCES" menu",
page 37.
The only specifically function dedicated to the BBC is the paper size used by default.
Default paper size.
The BBC needs to know the width and the height of the book.
When starting the machine or creating a new job, the format selected in this menu will be
offered as the default.
The operator can select from the most commonly used formats:
- A4 (width = 210 mm/8.3"),
- US Letter (width = 216 mm/8.5"),
- B4J (width = 257 mm/10.1"),
- or enter a custom width.
