generator, detector, goniostat, sample loader, et al.

Opening or closing the SMART X2S’’ hinged
upper cover creates a pinch hazard. Be aware of
this hazard whenever the upper cover is raised.

8.1.3 SMART X2S Compartments
After opening the lower drawer with the Administrator key, three compartments are visible:
•• The leftmost compartment is a storage compartment and typically contains the system’’s
USB keyboard and other miscellaneous items;
•• The middle compartment contains a series of power supplies and distribution modules
for the SMART X2S’’ interior components; and
•• The rightmost compartment contains the system computer.
